กองทัพบกร่วมกับกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ นำคณะ ICRC ลงพื้นที่ชายแดนไทย-กัมพูชา ติดตามผลกระทบด้านมนุษยธรรม ย้ำจุดยืนดูแลประชาชนตามหลักสากล

ระหว่างวันที่ 20 – 23 ม.ค. 69 กองทัพบกร่วมกับกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ อำนวยความสะดวกแก่เจ้าหน้าที่จากคณะกรรมการกาชาดระหว่างประเทศ (ICRC) ลงพื้นที่จังหวัดสระแก้ว บุรีรัมย์และ

ศรีสะเกษ เพื่อรับทราบข้อมูลผลกระทบต่อพลเรือนจากการปฏิบัติการทางการทหารของฝ่ายกัมพูชาในสถานการณ์การสู้รบที่ผ่านมา โดยคณะ ICRC ได้เข้าพบผู้แทนหน่วยงานราชการระดับจังหวัด เพื่อรับฟังการบรรยายสรุปต่อพลเรือน ก่อนเข้าสังเกตการณ์และสัมภาษณ์ข้อมูลเชิงลึกกับประชาชนที่ได้รับผลกระทบ ในพื้นที่อำเภอโคกสูง และอำเภอตาพระยา จังหวัดสระแก้ว, อำเภอบ้านกรวด จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์และอำเภอกันทรลักษ์ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ

ทั้งนี้ การปฏิบัติภารกิจของคณะ ICRC ดำเนินการภายใต้หลักมนุษยธรรมและความเป็นกลางอย่างเคร่งครัด โดยจะรายงานข้อเท็จจริงที่ได้รับต่อส่วนราชการของทั้งสองประเทศโดยตรง เพื่อใช้เป็นแนวทางในการประสานความช่วยเหลือและแก้ไขปัญหาต่อไป ภารกิจในครั้งนี้ สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของกองทัพบกในการอำนวยความสะดวกแก่หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อร่วมดูแลสวัสดิภาพของประชาชนตามหลักมนุษยธรรมสากลอย่างเคร่งครัดดังที่ประเทศไทยได้ปฏิบัติเสมอมา

Royal Thai Army, MFA Join ICRC Border Mission to Assess Civilian Impact, Reaffirming Commitment to Civilian Protection under International Principles

Between 20–23 January 2026, the Royal Thai Army, in close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provided facilitation for officials from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to conduct a field mission in the provinces of Sa Kaeo, Buriram, and Sisaket. The purpose of the mission was to gather information on the humanitarian impact on civilians resulting from recent military operations by Cambodian forces along the border.

During the mission, the ICRC delegation met with provincial government representatives to receive briefings on the situation affecting civilians. The delegation subsequently carried out field observations and conducted in‑depth interviews with affected residents in Khok Sung and Ta Phraya districts of Sa Kaeo Province, Ban Kruat District of Buriram Province, and Kantharalak District of Sisaket Province.

The ICRC’s activities were conducted strictly in accordance with the principles of humanitarianism and neutrality. Findings from the mission will be reported directly to the relevant government agencies of both Thailand and Cambodia, serving as a basis for coordinated assistance and problem‑solving efforts. This mission underscores the Royal Thai Army’s commitment to supporting humanitarian organizations and safeguarding the welfare of civilians in line with international humanitarian principles, a responsibility that Thailand has consistently upheld.
