ทบ. เผยทหารไทยเหยียบกับระเบิดขณะปฏิบัติหน้าที่เสริมความมั่นคงพื้นที่เขาสัตตะโสม อ.กันทรลักษ์ เตรียมรวบรวมหลักฐานเสนอเวทีโลก ชี้ผิดอนุสัญญาออตตาวา

​วันนี้ (29 ธันวาคม 2568) พลตรี วินธัย สุวารี โฆษกกองทัพบก เปิดเผยว่า กองทัพภาคที่ 2 ได้รายงานเหตุการณ์กรณีชุดตรวจค้นทุ่นระเบิดจากกองพันทหารช่างที่ 8 กองพลทหารม้าที่ 1 เหยียบทุ่นระเบิดสังหารบุคคลขณะปฏิบัติภารกิจเสริมความมั่นคงในพื้นที่บริเวณเขาสัตตะโสม อ.กันทรลักษ์ จ.ศรีสะเกษ ส่งผลให้ จ.ส.ต. สุจินต์ จิตกรียาน ได้รับบาดเจ็บสาหัส สูญเสียขาซ้ายและมีบาดแผลบริเวณตาซ้าย ซึ่งเบื้องต้นเจ้าหน้าที่ได้เร่งปฐมพยาบาลและนำตัวส่งไปรักษาต่อยังโรงพยาบาลสุรินทร์เป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว

​โฆษกกองทัพบก ระบุเพิ่มเติมว่า จากการประเมินเบื้องต้นคาดว่ายังมีทุ่นระเบิดที่ฝ่ายกัมพูชาติดตั้งไว้ในพื้นที่อีกเป็นจำนวนมาก โดยเฉพาะในเขตพื้นที่ที่ฝ่ายไทยเข้าควบคุมก่อนมีการประกาศหยุดยิง ซึ่งเจ้าหน้าที่กำลังเร่งดำเนินการเก็บกู้ด้วยความยากลำบากเนื่องจากสภาพพื้นที่ที่มีความเสี่ยงอันตรายสูง สำหรับเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นในวันนี้ อยู่ระหว่างการตรวจสอบที่เกิดเหตุและรวบรวมพยานหลักฐานโดยละเอียด ซึ่งกองทัพบกจะส่งมอบข้อมูลทั้งหมดให้กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ เพื่อดำเนินการชี้แจงต่อประชาคมระหว่างประเทศอย่างเป็นทางการ เนื่องจากเป็นการละเมิดอนุสัญญาออตตาวาอย่างชัดเจน พร้อมทั้งรายงานไปยังคณะผู้สังเกตการณ์อาเซียน (ASEAN Observer Team: AOT) เพื่อให้ตรวจสอบและพิสูจน์ทราบข้อเท็จจริงตามกรอบการปฏิบัติตามข้อตกลงหยุดยิง

​กองทัพบกขอยืนยันว่า หลักฐานการวางทุ่นระเบิดสังหารบุคคลในทุกกรณี บ่งชี้ชัดเจนว่าฝ่ายกัมพูชายังคงมีการใช้ทุ่นระเบิดซึ่งถือเป็นการละเมิดพันธกรณีระหว่างประเทศ ภายใต้อนุสัญญาว่าด้วยการห้ามใช้ การสะสม การผลิต และการโอนทุ่นระเบิดสังหารบุคคล และการทำลายทุ่นระเบิดดังกล่าว (อนุสัญญาออตตาวา) อย่างร้ายแรง ถือเป็นการกระทำที่ขัดต่อหลักมนุษยธรรมสากลและเป็นสิ่งที่ประชาคมโลกไม่อาจยอมรับได้

Royal Thai Army Reports Thai Soldier Injured by Landmine During Security Mission at Khao Sattasom, Kantharalak District, Sisaket; Evidence to Be Presented Internationally, Ottawa Convention Violation Cited

Today (29 December 2025), Major General Winthai Suvaree, Army spokesperson, revealed that the 2nd Army Area reported a serious incident in Sisaket Province. A mine clearance team from the 8th Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, triggered an anti-personnel mine while conducting a security operation at Khao Sattasom in Kantharalak District. The blast severely injured Sergeant Major Sujin Jitkriyan, resulting in the loss of his left leg and injuries to his left eye. He received immediate first aid before being transferred to Surin Hospital for further treatment.

The Army spokesman added that preliminary assessments suggest there are still a large number of mines planted by Cambodian forces in the area, particularly in zones that Thailand took control of before the ceasefire was declared. The clearance operation is proving difficult due to the high-risk terrain. Today’s incident is under investigation, with evidence being collected in detail. The Royal Thai Army will submit all information to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for an official explanation to the international community, as this constitutes a clear violation of the Ottawa Convention. A report will also be sent to the ASEAN Observer Team (AOT) to verify and establish the facts within the framework of the ceasefire agreement.

The Royal Thai Army asserts that evidence of anti-personnel mine deployment consistently shows Cambodian forces continue to use such weapons, constituting a serious breach of international obligations under the Ottawa Convention—the treaty prohibiting the use, stockpiling, production, and transfer of anti-personnel mines. The Army emphasizes that this practice represents a grave violation of international humanitarian principles and is unacceptable to the global community.
