Thailand’s Position on the Thailand-Cambodia Situation

1. Never the aggressor — but compelled to defend ourselves.

2. Committed to International Humanitarian Law and the inherent right to self defense.

3. Civilian safety is the highest priority.

4. Military force is the last resort in border disputes.

5. Thailand stands for peace, yet cannot allow its sovereignty to be violated.
