วันนี้ (18 พ.ย.68) ที่กองบัญชาการกองทัพบก พลตรี วินธัย สุวารี โฆษกกองทัพบก กล่าวถึงกรณีที่ประธานวุฒิสภากัมพูชา ได้กล่าวในพิธีเปิดการประชุมสมัชชาสงฆ์แห่งชาติ ครั้งที่ 33 และมีประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความมั่นคงบริเวณพื้นที่ชายแดนไทย–กัมพูชา รวมถึงประเด็นบิดเบือนจากสื่อของกัมพูชา ที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อกองทัพบก ดังนี้

1. กรณีศพทหารบริเวณชายแดน

โฆษกกองทัพบกย้ำว่า ศพทหารที่ตกค้างในบริเวณพื้นที่ชายแดนนั้น เป็นศพของทหารกัมพูชาที่เสียชีวิตในห้วงการปะทะกัน เมื่อ ก.ค.68 ซึ่งฝ่ายกัมพูชาได้ปล่อยทิ้งไว้ในพื้นที่การรบ จนเกิดการเน่าเสียส่งกลิ่นกระทบต่อชุมชนของทั้งสองฝั่ง โดยฝ่ายทหารไทยได้พยายามท้วงติงเพื่อเรียกร้องให้ฝ่ายกัมพูชามาจัดเก็บ เพื่อนำศพไปดำเนินการตามประเพณีให้เหมาะสม แต่กัมพูชากลับไม่ดำเนินการ

และเป็นที่น่าเสียดาย ที่ผู้นำอาวุโสของประเทศกลับเมินเฉยต่อศพดังกล่าว ไม่เคารพในเกียรติและศักดิ์ศรีความเป็นทหารที่เสียสละเพื่อประเทศตน แต่กลับสนใจและมุ่งหวังเพียงแต่สร้างข่าวหรือข้อมูลบิดเบือนนำเสนอต่อสาธารณะอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งที่มีหลักฐานและภาพปรากฏในพื้นที่จริงให้ได้พิสูจน์ทราบโดยชัดเจนอยู่แล้ว

ส่วนกำลังทหารไทยที่เสียชีวิตจากเหตุปะทะช่วง ก.ค.68 นั้น รวมทั้งสิ้น 16 นาย ซึ่งกองทัพบกไทยได้ตระหนักและระลึกถึงวีรกรรมของกำลังพลผู้กล้า ดำเนินการส่งกลับภูมิลำเนาเพื่อประกอบพิธีอย่างสมเกียรติ พร้อมจัดกิจกรรมเชิดชูเกียรติ และดูแลครอบครัวผู้เสียสละตามระเบียบของทางราชการอย่างเหมาะสม ซึ่งไม่ได้ถูกละเลยการเหลียวแลอย่างที่ประธานวุฒิสภากัมพูชาอ้างถึง

2. กรณีเชลยศึกกัมพูชา 18 นาย

ที่ผ่านมา ฝ่ายไทยควบคุมทหารกัมพูชาที่ยอมจำนนทั้งหมด 20 นาย และได้ส่งกลับ 2 นาย ที่มีอาการบาดเจ็บและมีอาการทางจิตเวช ปัจจุบันคงเหลือ 18 นาย ซึ่งไทยได้ดูแลตามหลักสากลและหลักมนุษยธรรม ภายใต้การสังเกตการณ์ของ ICRC อย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งนี้ กัมพูชาทราบดีว่าการปล่อยเชลยศึกนั้น จะกระทำได้เมื่อสถานการณ์ความเป็นปรปักษ์สิ้นสุดลง แต่ขณะนี้พบว่ากัมพูชายังคงสร้างสถานการณ์ ลักลอบวางทุ่นระเบิด และเผยแพร่ข้อมูลเท็จอย่างต่อเนื่อง

และกรณีเชลยศึกที่ถูกปล่อยตัวไป แต่ภายหลังกลับถูกนำไปยกย่องในสื่อว่า ได้รับการปล่อยตัวกลับประเทศและกลับมาปฏิบัติหน้าที่ที่ชายแดนอีกครั้งนั้น โฆษกกองทัพบกระบุว่า ทหารรายดังกล่าวมีอาการทางจิตเวชจากความเครียดระหว่างการสู้รบ ซึ่งมีลักษณะเป็นผู้ป่วย ฝ่ายไทยจึงส่งกลับเพื่อให้ไปเข้าสู่กระบวนการบำบัดรักษา แต่กัมพูชาในฐานะรัฐต้นสังกัด กลับนำบุคคลดังกล่าวกลับไปปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในพื้นที่การสู้รบ โดยถือว่าเป็นการกระทำที่ไร้มนุษยธรรมต่อเพื่อนมนุษย์ และละเมิดหลักมนุษยธรรมสากล จึงขอเรียกร้องให้องค์กรมนุษยธรรมในต่างประเทศที่เกี่ยวข้องได้ช่วยกันพิจารณาดำเนินการอย่างหนึ่งอย่างใดต่อเรื่องนี้

3. ข้อกล่าวหาใหม่ต่อทหารพรานไทย

กรณีสื่อกัมพูชาอ้างว่า “ทหารพรานไทยทำร้ายและข่มขืนหญิงชาวกัมพูชาในพื้นที่สวายเจก“ นั้น กองทัพบกได้ประสานข้อมูลกับกองทัพเรือ และหน่วยงานในพื้นที่แล้ว พบว่าไม่เป็นความจริง โดยเป็นการสร้างข่าวเท็จบิดเบือน เพื่อต้องการจะใส่ร้ายป้ายสีในเรื่องที่ไม่ดี เพื่อหวังจะทำลายภาพลักษณ์ของไทย โดยขอย้ำว่าการปฏิบัติของฝ่ายไทย จะอยู่ภายใต้กรอบกฎหมาย และกติกาสากลอย่างเคร่งครัด

โฆษกกองทัพบก กล่าวต่อว่า “ตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา ฝ่ายกัมพูชา มักจะใช้วิธีการที่สกปรก ด้วยการสร้างเรื่องเท็จลวงโลก ตนเชื่อว่าคงมีเฉพาะคนในประเทศกัมพูชาเท่านั้นที่อาจจะเชื่อ เพราะในประเทศกัมพูชาเหมือนถูกบังคับให้เข้าถึงเนื้อหาข่าวสารต่างๆ ได้ในลักษณะแบบทางเดียวเป็นหลัก จากฝั่งผู้มีอำนาจ และเชื่อว่าในสังคมโลกคงใช้วิจารณญาณอย่างเพียงพอ คงมองออกในเรื่องดังกล่าว จึงไม่ได้หลับหูหลับตาเชื่อข่าวสารเท็จตามที่ทางฝ่ายกัมพูชาได้พยายามยัดเยียดให้ไทยแต่อย่างใด“

Royal Thai Army Hits Back Hun Sen’s false Claims on Border Corpses, POWs; Accuses Cambodia of Violating International Law, Spreading Disinformation Including Fabricated Ranger Rape Claims

Today (November 18, 2025) at Royal Thai Army Headquarters, Major General Winthai Suvaree, Army Spokesperson, addressed the case where Hun Sen, President of the Senate of Cambodia, spoke at the opening ceremony of the 33rd National Buddhist Monk Assembly, with issues concerning security in the Thai-Cambodian border area, including distorted issues from Cambodian media that have impacted the Royal Thai Army, as follows:

1. Case of soldier corpses in the border area

The Army spokesman emphasized that the soldiers' corpses remaining in the border area are those of Cambodian soldiers who died during clashes in July 2025, which the Cambodian side left abandoned in the combat zone until they decomposed and emitted odors affecting communities on both sides. Thai military forces attempted to protest and demand that the Cambodian side retrieve them to conduct proper traditional funeral rites, but Cambodia did not take action.

And it is regrettable that the senior leaders of that country have ignored these corpses, showing no respect for the honor and dignity of soldiers who sacrificed themselves for their own country, but instead have been interested only in creating distorted news or information to present to the public continuously, despite clear evidence and actual photographic proof available in the area for verification.

As for Thai military personnel who died from the clashes in July 2025, a total of 16, whom the Royal Thai Army has been mindful and remembers the heroism of. They have been returned to their hometowns for honorable funeral ceremonies, along with organizing commemorative activities and caring for the families of those who sacrificed according to appropriate government regulations, which were not neglected as the President of the Cambodian Senate has claimed.

2. Case of 18 Cambodian prisoners of war

In the past, the Thai side has held a total of 20 Cambodian soldiers who surrendered, and has returned 2 who had physical injuries and psychiatric symptoms. Currently, 18 remain, whom Thailand has cared for according to international principles and humanitarian standards, under continuous observation by the ICRC. Cambodia is well aware that the release of prisoners of war can only be carried out when hostile situations have ended, but at present, Cambodia continues to create situations, secretly plant landmines, and continuously disseminate false information.

Regarding the case of prisoners of war who were released but were later praised in the media as having been released back to their country and returning to duty at the border again, the Army spokesman stated that this soldier had psychiatric symptoms from combat stress and was a patient. The Thai side returned him so he could enter treatment and rehabilitation processes, but Cambodia, as the state of origin, brought this individual back to perform duties in the combat zone. This is considered an inhumane act toward a fellow human being and a violation of international humanitarian principles. Therefore, Thailand calls upon relevant international humanitarian organizations to jointly consider taking some action on this matter.

3. New allegations against Thai Rangers

Regarding the Cambodian media’s claim "Thai Rangers assaulted and raped a Cambodian woman in the Svay Chek area", the Royal Thai Army has coordinated information with the Royal Thai Navy and local agencies and found this to be untrue. It is a fabricated and distorted false news story intended to defame and falsely accuse Thailand in a negative matter, hoping to destroy Thailand's image. The spokesperson emphasized that Thai operations are conducted strictly within the framework of law and international rules.

The Army spokesperson continued, "Throughout this entire period, Cambodia has often used dirty tactics by creating false stories to deceive the world. I believe that perhaps only people in Cambodia might believe them, because in Cambodia, people seem to be forced to access various news content primarily in a one-way manner from those in power. And I believe that global society likely uses sufficient critical judgment and can see through such matters, so they do not blindly believe the false news that Cambodia has attempted to force upon Thailand in any way.”
