กองทัพไทยยึดหลักสันติวิธี แก้ไขปัญหาบริเวณชายแดนไทย–กัมพูชา

จากกรณีเมื่อวันที่ 17 กันยายน 2568 มีรายงานว่า นายอุม เรียตรีย์ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดบันทายมีชัย ได้นำทีมร้องเรียนต่อคณะผู้สังเกตการณ์ชั่วคราว (IOT) ฝ่ายไทย กรณีอ้างว่า "ทหารไทยจ่อปืนใส่พลเรือนชาวกัมพูชา" เหตุเกิดที่บ้านหนองหญ้าแก้ว อ.โคกสูง จ.สระแก้ว

อย่างไรก็ตาม คณะผู้สังเกตการณ์ชั่วคราว (IOT) ฝ่ายไทย นำโดย พล.ต.ซัมซุล ริซัล บิน มูซา ผู้ช่วยทูตทหารมาเลเซีย ได้ชี้แจงให้ผู้ร้องเรียนไปแจ้งต่อ คณะ IOT ฝ่ายกัมพูชา แทน เนื่องจากการปฏิบัติของ IOT มี สองฝ่าย แยกกัน คือ ฝ่ายไทย และ ฝ่ายกัมพูชา โดยแต่ละฝ่ายจะมีผู้แทนจากประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียน 1 นาย ทำหน้าที่เก็บข้อมูลและรายงานเพื่อตรวจสอบว่า ทั้งสองประเทศปฏิบัติตามข้อตกลงหยุดยิงจริงหรือไม่

เหตุการณ์นี้สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความพยายามของกองทัพไทยในการใช้ สันติวิธี เป็นหลัก ไม่ใช้ความรุนแรง และยึดมั่นการแก้ไขปัญหาผ่านกลไกทางการทูตและความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ

ทั้งนี้ กองทัพไทยขอยืนยันว่า ยังคงยึดมั่นใน ความมั่นคงของชาติ การปกป้องอธิปไตย และการดำเนินการด้วยความเป็นกลาง เพื่อรักษาความสงบเรียบร้อยในพื้นที่ชายแดน และเพื่อสร้างความเชื่อมั่นให้กับพี่น้องประชาชนว่า กองทัพไทยยืนหยัดเคียงข้างประชาชนเสมอ

The Royal Thai Armed Forces Uphold Peaceful Means in Resolving Border Issues

On 17 September 2025, it was reported that Mr. Um Reatrey, Governor of Banteay Meanchey Province, lodged a complaint with the Thai side of the Immediate Observer Team (IOT), claiming that "Thai soldiers pointed guns at Cambodian civilians" near Ban Nong Ya Kaeo, Khok Sung District, Sa Kaeo Province.

However, the Thai IOT, led by Maj. Gen. Samsul Rizal Bin Musa, Malaysian Defence Attaché, clarified that the matter should be raised with the Cambodian IOT instead. This is because there are two IOT teams—one on the Thai side and one on the Cambodian side . Each team consists of one ASEAN Defence Attaché responsible for gathering information and reporting whether both countries are adhering to the ceasefire agreement.

This incident reflects the Royal Thai Armed Forces’ commitment to peaceful solutions without the use of force, emphasizing diplomacy and international cooperation as the means to resolve sensitive issues along the border .

The Royal Thai Armed Forces reaffirm their dedication to national security, safeguarding sovereignty, and maintaining neutrality, ensuring peace and stability in border areas, while building confidence that the Thai military always stands by the people.
