กองทัพบกพบ “ทุ่นระเบิด PMN-1” 3 ทุ่นที่สระแก้ว ย้ำเดินหน้าเก็บกู้ต่อเนื่อง แม้กัมพูชาไม่เข้าร่วม เพื่อความปลอดภัยของประชาชน

11 ตุลาคม 2568 กองทัพบกได้รับรายงานจากกองกำลังบูรพาเกี่ยวกับความคืบหน้าภารกิจเก็บกู้ทุ่นระเบิดในพื้นที่บ้านหนองหญ้าแก้ว อำเภอโคกสูง จังหวัดสระแก้ว โดยจากการปฏิบัติได้ตรวจพบทุ่นระเบิดสังหารบุคคลชนิด PMN-1 จำนวน 3 ทุ่น อยู่ในสภาพเก่าแต่ยังสามารถใช้งานได้ ซึ่งเจ้าหน้าที่ได้ดำเนินการเก็บกู้ตามขั้นตอนอย่างปลอดภัยเรียบร้อยแล้ว

สำหรับทุ่นระเบิดที่ตรวจพบในครั้งนี้เป็นทุ่นระเบิดเก่าที่ตกค้างมาตั้งแต่ช่วงสงครามในอดีต ซึ่งไม่สามารถเก็บกู้ได้ครบถ้วน เนื่องจากในขณะนั้นฝ่ายกัมพูชาไม่อนุญาตให้เจ้าหน้าที่ไทยเข้าไปดำเนินการในพื้นที่ และเมื่อพิจารณาจากชนิดของทุ่นระเบิดพบว่าเป็นของฝ่ายกัมพูชา

การพบทุ่นระเบิดในครั้งนี้ยังสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความจำเป็นที่ทั้งสองประเทศควรให้ความสำคัญและร่วมมือกันในการเก็บกู้ทุ่นระเบิดตามข้อตกลงที่ได้ร่วมกันในการประชุมคณะกรรมการชายแดนทั่วไป (GBC) เมื่อวันที่ 10 กันยายน 2568 เพื่อทำให้พื้นที่ชายแดนปลอดภัยอย่างยั่งยืน โดยฝ่ายไทยพร้อมดำเนินการเก็บกู้ทุ่นระเบิดต่อไป แม้ว่าฝ่ายกัมพูชาจะไม่เข้าร่วม ทั้งนี้เพื่อความปลอดภัยของประชาชนและเป็นไปตามหลักมนุษยธรรมสากล

Royal Thai Army Finds 3 "PMN-1 Anti-Personnel Mines" in Sa Kaeo, Affirms Continued Clearance Operations Despite Cambodia's Non-Participation for Public Safety.

Today (October 11, 2025), the Royal Thai Army received a report from Burapa Task Force regarding progress on the mine clearance mission in Ban Nong Ya Kaeo, Khok Sung District, Sa Kaeo Province. During operations, three PMN-1 anti-personnel mines were discovered. They are in old condition but still functional. Officials have already safely completed the removal process with proper procedures.

The mines are remnants from the war period that could not be completely cleared at the time because the Cambodian side did not allow Thai officials to enter the area to conduct clearance operations. Upon examination, the type of mines found indicates they were deployed by the Cambodian side.

The discovery of these mines reflects the necessity for both countries to prioritize and cooperate in mine clearance operations according to the agreement reached at the GBC meeting on September 10, 2025, in order to make the border area sustainably safe. The Thai side is ready to continue mine clearance operations even if the Cambodian side does not participate, for the safety of the people and in accordance with international humanitarian principles.
